Drink plenty of water.

Eat more foods that grow on trees and plants and eat less food that is manufactured in plants.

Live with the 3 E's - Energy, Enthusiasm, Empathy.

Make time to pray.

Play more games.

Read more books than you did in 2008.

Sit in silence for at least 10 minutes each day.

Sleep for 7 hours.

Take a 10 to 30 minute way every day. And while you walk, smile.

Don't compare your life to others. You have no idea what their journey is all about.

Don't have negative thoughts of things you cannot control. Instead invest your energy in the positive present moment.

Don't over do. Keep your limits.

Don't take yourself so seriously. No one else does.

Don't waste your precious energy on gossip.

Dream more while you are awake.

Envy is a waste of time. You already have all you need.

Forget issues of the past. Don't remind your partner with his/her mistakes of the past. That will ruin your present happiness.

Life is too short to waste time hating anyone. Don't hate others.

Make peace with your past so it won't spoil the present.

No one is in charge of your happiness except you.

Realize that life is a school and you are here to learn. Problems are simply part of the curriculum that appear and fade away like algebra class, but the lessons you learn will last a lifetime.

Smile and laugh more.

You don't have to win every argument. Agree to disagree.

Call your family often.

Each day give something good to others..

Forgive everyone for everything.

Spend time with people over the age of 70 and under the age of 6.

Try to make at least three people smile each day.

What other people think of you is none of your business.

Your job won't take care of you when you are sick. Your friends will. Stay in touch.

Do the right thing.

Get rid of anything that isn't useful, beautiful or joyful.

GOD heals everything.

However good or bad a situation is, it will change.

No matter how you feel, get up, dress up and show up.

The best is yet to come.

When you awake alive in the morning, thank GOD for it.

Your Inner most is always happy. So, be happy.

Heard this earlier and remembered how much I love what it has to say.

In Christ alone my hope is found;
He is my light, my strength, my song;
This cornerstone, this solid ground,
Firm through the fiercest drought and storm.
What heights of love, what depths of peace,
When fears are stilled, when strivings cease!
My comforter, my all in all—
Here in the love of Christ I stand.

In Christ alone, Who took on flesh,
Fullness of God in helpless babe!
This gift of love and righteousness,
Scorned by the ones He came to save.
Till on that cross as Jesus died,
The wrath of God was satisfied;
For ev'ry sin on Him was laid—
Here in the death of Christ I live.

There in the ground His body lay,
Light of the world by darkness slain;
Then bursting forth in glorious day,
Up from the grave He rose again!
And as He stands in victory,
Sin's curse has lost its grip on me;
For I am His and He is mine—
Bought with the precious blood of Christ.

No guilt in life, no fear in death—
This is the pow'r of Christ in me;
From life's first cry to final breath,
Jesus commands my destiny.
No pow'r of hell, no scheme of man,
Can ever pluck me from His hand;
Till He returns or calls me home—
Here in the pow'r of Christ I'll stand.

A big thanks to Megan for giving me (and my mom!) this Kreativ Blogger Award!

"After visiting my friend Whitney's store, Park Street Market, I think her and her mom deserve creative awards! Her mom, Mrs. Cathy, makes all kinds of great things! They are very crafty!! Whitney does photography too!"

You are so sweet! I love what I do.

I pass this Kreativ Blogger Award on to Allison.
She is the very extraordinary creative graphic goddess :)

"Fab Five" is what we call ourselves - we are five best friends from high school who to this day are still as close as we were back then. I consider myself pretty lucky that on any given day I can still count on these girls. We email regularly, call & text regularly, and try to see each other regularly. The last Fab Five weekend was in April of last year so it was definitely time for another, of course we've all seen each other since then, but not for an official girls weekend. And to make the weekend even better we got to ooh and ahh over baby Molly Jane, our newest addition, who will make her entrance into the world in July. In her honor we will gather again in May for Katie's baby shower!

Hope you girls enjoyed your weekend in Carlisle...I miss you already!

Here's to many more girls weekends with best friends (and babies!) :)

Last weekend Matt and I helped give a honey do shower for our friends Ginger Cowling and Anthony Woodall. Matt and Anthony went to high school together and the Woodall's are family friends. Brea and I pretty much spent the whole night by the heater as it was snowing outside during the party and the venue did not have a built in heater!

Here are a few pictures from the night...my camera seemed to be limited to pictures of Kellys and Bennetts apparently :)

Brea & I...wishing baby Lily was there!
